Employee Training

Few things are as important as training when it comes to effectively responding, managing, and stabilizing an incident before it goes out-of-control.  Training is essential to ensure that everyone knows what to do when there is an emergency or disruption of business operations. Everyone needs the training to become familiar with protective actions for life safety (e.g., evacuation, shelter, shelter-in-place, and lockdown). Review protective actions for life safety and conduct evacuation drills (“fire drills”) as required by local regulations. Sheltering and lockdown drills should also be conducted. Employees should receive training to become familiar with safety, building security, information security, and other loss prevention programs.

We educate to inform and train to establish competency. Our objectives and standards-based materials include activities to educate and train executives, team leaders, and team members. We train employees so they know how to respond safely during an emergency. This includes understanding the need to coordinate with and collaboratively integrate appropriate stakeholders in all phases of emergency management (i.e., mitigation, prevention, and protection; preparedness; response; and recovery) related to all-hazard incidents, both natural and manmade.
